User Productivity Trainer & Designer (19-00259) – CA – South San Francisco

• Facilitate customer learning events as a productivity software expert
• Develop customer learning experiences based on audience and IT solution
• Assist in executing customer engagement strategy in South San Francisco & virtually for remote sites
• Act as a conduit between customers and IT
• Promote IT offerings to customers via short face-to-face engagement interactions
• Engage with customers to understand and what IT-related challenges they face in their day-to-day work
• Identify and document business needs and opportunities for IT to improve customer offerings
• Follow best practices for Customer Engagement
• Document customer feedback regarding IT solutions
• Lead development of instructional materials when necessary
• Ensure creation and accuracy of digital or printed materials for customer engagement experiences
• Edit training materials created by others for formatting, flow, and educational effectiveness
• Write, Review and edit content for self-serve user instructions and resource material.
• Act as an advocate for user productivity tools by answering questions and posting tips in our work-related social platforms
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. up to 30% time

• Excellent classroom training skills
• Knowledge of emerging and evolving technologies
• Advanced knowledge of Google Apps Suite and other business productivity tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Trello, Asana)
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to the needs of the audience
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to be customer-centric and strive for simplicity
• Ability to understand technical jargon and distil into simple user facing terminology
• Ability to engage customers and build effective relationships with customers in varying levels across the organization
• Ability to determine client/customer needs
• Demonstrated ability to lead adult learning programs
• Knowledge of and skill with change management practices
• Knowledge of and skill with instructional design methodologies
• Familiarity with leveraging social media platforms for promotions/marketing

• Intermediate experience with video editing & motion graphics
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator or comparable graphics software
• Proficiency with WordPress
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to work across numerous projects while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work effectively with multiple project team members and stakeholders across the organization
