SAS Systems Analyst (20-00064) – WA – Bothell

Summary:
Seeking a Systems Analyst supporting SAS® Server and related applications. A Systems Analyst performs user and folder administration, supports SAS® users by troubleshooting issues, assists with the implementation of new projects on SAS® metadata server, and contributes to the development and maintenance of SAS®-related applications.

Duties:
Support the development and validation of SAS® programs by internal functions including Clinical Programming, Biostatistics, Data Management, Drug Safety reporting, Translational Medicine, and others. Perform administration for SAS® users, groups, Active Directory accounts, and SAS® metadata accounts. Assist with the implementation of new projects on SAS® metadata server, including folder structure, stored processes, and security set up. Support the development or related applications, including documenting requirements, writing and executing tests, and developing and maintaining training materials. Troubleshoot to resolve system-related issues. Clear and proactive communication with business partners. Write requirements, specifications, test scripts/cases and other documentation in adherence with internal procedures. Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards at the protocol level.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. 2 years of experience in software development and/or programming required. Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment. Positive attitude and an ability to creatively use programming skills across variety of tasks. Good written and verbal communication skills. Experience with SAS® Server. Exposure to 21 CFR Part 11 regulations and computer systems validation process. Knowledge of additional programming languages and tools such as C#, S-Plus, R, SPSS, Perl, VBA, MS Access, MS Excel, and SQL that interface with SAS. Windows server administration experience preferred.
