Research Associate I — Cell Line Develop (19-00548) – MA – Framingham

Job Responsibilities/Department Description:
The Cell Line Development (CLD) group within *** Biologics Development is seeking a motivated full-time temporary (12 months) employee to join a high-performing, collaborative team focused on optimizing CHO cell line development platforms. Employee will support platform development activities which aim to reduce overall timelines while improving cell productivity and product quality. Responsibilities will focus on improving processes, components, and methodologies used to generate recombinant CHO cell lines for production of protein biologics. Employee will be responsible for vector construction, cell line generation, and evaluation of recombinant CHO cell lines for supporting cell line generation process improvements. Additional responsibilities include performing good documentation practices, managing work assignments, analyzing and interpreting data and conducting necessary troubleshooting (consulting with supervisor as needed).
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Science with 1-3 years or MS degree in Science with 0-2 years of molecular biology and cell culture experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Molecular cloning and mammalian cell culture.
