This role is for an MD in US Medical Oncology (USOM) supporting Breast Cancer and other indications as necessary.
The USOM organization is responsible for all phase IB-IV oncology clinical programs and US medical strategy.
This position will provide scientific leadership for both marketed and/or development-stage compound/s as assigned.
The successful candidate will support and lead US medical and clinical activities for assigned compounds/trials; analyze data from clinical trials and produce reports as indicated; participate in strategic planning as part of Marketing, Development or Global Oncology teams where appropriate; educate colleagues within the company as well as health care professionals outside the company related to assigned compound/s where appropriate; assist in the development and appropriate spending of medical/clinical budget; and provide input into publication plan.
Oncology fellowship strongly preferred.
English Scientific medical research experience in Solid Tumor Oncology with demonstrated record of scientific medical publications.
Understanding of aspects of clinical research as part of the drug development process.
Experience designing and/or executing clinical studies.
Superior leadership, networking, collaboration and communication skills.
Board certification in Oncology and/or equivalent training/experience is strongly preferred.
Thorough understanding and respect for regulations and legal guidelines.
Industry experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years of clinical research experience
Pharma experience preferred
Education: MD required
