Learning Developer II (19-00530) – WA – Bothell

We are looking for a creative, forward-thinking learning professional to join the IT Training team for a contract role. In this role, you will design and develop eLearning and blended learning solutions for various software applications and technology systems.
• Design and develop instructional content that is engaging, impactful, and appropriate for the business need and audience
• Design and produce learning content that includes graphics, audio, video, and animation technologies
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) within the organization to write scripts and capture elearning content
• Edit and produce online content in accordance with organizational standards
• Record and edit course narration with internal voice talent
• Contribute to the design of professional templates used in the development of learning materials
• Assist in expanding offerings to incorporate additional instructional methods and technologies
• At least 3 years’ experience designing and developing learning content. A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience designing microlearning instructional content
• Able to integrate adult learning theory and instructional design methodology into an appropriate mix of delivery media and methods
• Capable of performing multiple roles on a project including instructional designer, courseware developer, quality assurance tester, and editor, as needed
• Well-versed in elearning tools and technology
• Excellent writing, communication, and copy editing skills with an eye for detail
• Experience with Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and SnagIt
• Experience with Storyline and animation videos a plus
• Visual and graphic design skills and basic HTML editing a plus
• Focused and collaborative team player with an aptitude for problem-solving
• Adaptable and self-managing individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects
