Business Systems Analyst IV (19-00699) – CA – South San Francisco

Experienced Business Systems Analyst with demonstrated BSA work experience on multiple projects. Strong in full lifecycle of IT project work, from requirements gathering through functional specifications/design and user acceptance testing. Demonstrated ability in managing complex requirements in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Agile methodology experience preferred.
Prefer experience with US healthcare industry, with ideal candidates having worked with medical insurance, reimbursement, and managed care payers. Knowledge of prescription drug "landscape”: insurance "payers”, specialty pharmacies, PBMs, etc.
Specific responsibilities include:
Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Developers, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Security and Compliance groups to support the vendor evaluation and selection through Proof of Concepts (POCs)
Facilitate workshops with the business and IT teams
Help define POC criteria
Extract, analyze, cross-walk data between systems and document/communicate the result to the extended team
Primary point of contact for vendors – coordinate the execution of the POC across the team/org and vendors (corner case exploration, QC, different scenarios)
Consolidate results of the POC and prepare readout to broader *** team
Work with the Procurement, the Global Security and Privacy team to ensure that all the necessary security-related documentations are completed and approved by the appropriate person

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to quickly produce clearly written, well-organized documentation; excellent presentation and meeting facilitation skills
Proven skills in relationship building, customer-focus, decision-making, and problem-solving
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn the business in unfamiliar areas
Experience and understanding of any of the following areas a plus:
*Pharmaceutical/Biotech environment
*Business processes in case management, reimbursement management, and support.
