Administrator / Development Lead / Offshore Coordinator: Cognos BI & Reporting Infrastructure
·         Current infrastructure
o   Cognos Analytics version 11.x on Windows 2016; Framework Manager, Analysis Studio Reports, Cubes, Powerplay;
o   800+ reports; 400+ users across US, UK, HKG, Japan, Australia, India;
o   Supports analytics and reporting across most Corporate Finance and IT Finance applications (21+)
o   Integrates with Cognos Planning Analytics (formerly TM1) for reporting where TM1 is the data source
·         Responsibilities
o   Interface with business sponsors to understand their needs, gather requirements, coordinate development with offshore team, coordinate UAT and report on relevant development status
o   Manage creation of deployment packages and the change process
o   Lead the offshore developers to execute effectively on the prioritized initiatives, to ensure the projects are delivered on time, with a high level of quality
o   Identify, test and coordinate major/minor version upgrades, set up and maintain access entitlements
o   Provide production support, identify / troubleshoot, escalate, and document issues and solutions
o   Expand and mature a center of excellence reporting model to enforce standards, simplify support, and continually improve the CFS reporting platform
o   Develop scripts using the Cognos SDK to automate and simplify routine tasks such as license maintenance
o   Create and maintain technical documentation and architectural diagrams
o   Plan, test, and execute disaster recovery procedures in coordination with support teams
o   Establish robust processes and standards that the offshore developers are held accountable to, and actively engage in code review to assure work product is meeting the standard

 Qualifications
o   3+ years of demonstrated experience as a Cognos Administrator; experience with version 11 required
o   3-5 years of experience with IBM Cognos development (Framework Manager, Analysis Studio, Powerplay, Cubes, Reports)
o   Experience using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
o   Experience with SQL development, Planning Analytics (TM1) a plus
o   Strong experience with secured multi-user enterprise reporting environment
o   Experience working with operational support teams, both on-shore and off-shore
o   Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o   Financial services industry experience a plus
o   Solid analytical and trouble-shooting skills
Must be able to work with multiple cross-functional teams including business users and other technology teams
